- Abstract
The authors discuss the proposals from Member States of the World Health Organization to include additional diseases in the list of neglected tropical diseases. Topics mentioned include decline in the global prevalence of trachoma and onchocerciasis between 1990 and 2013, risk of agricultural workers for minor ocular trauma, and the delivery of a simple, safe, and effective community-based strategy to solve the problem of infectious corneal ulceration.
