- Abstract
Manuscript BMH h 101 of the Utrecht Catharijneconvent Museum is a small prayer book which presumably dates from the early sixteenth century. It once belonged to the Convent of Canonesses Regular of St Augustine in Maaseik (now in the Belgian province of Limburg). The manuscript does not contain references to its origin or its original owners, and is not mentioned in a list of the Convent's library holdings. Arguments for its Maaseik origin are derived in the first place from the decoration of the manuscript and are supported by its codicological aspects.
