- Abstract
The article reports on the impact of the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) reform on schools, children and young people with learning disabilities and their families in England. It states that the government formed chapter 3 of the Children and Families Bill which is due to receive Royal Assent in March 2014 for implementation from September 2014. It indicates that the bill will introduce extensive reform of the provision for all children and young people identified with SEN.
