- Abstract
The article reports on the relationship between medicine and absurdist philosophy, and French author Albert Camus' vision of absurdism. It discusses the question of why things happen, particularly in tragedies, and the physician's goal of answering that question through treatment. It also mentions that no matter how much success a physician has, there will always be more tragedies to try and understand.
