- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 50-year-old housewife with contact urticaria due to a face mask coated with disinfectant liquid spray. Topics discussed include the components of the spray used by the patient which include ethoxysilane-based quaternary ammonium salt, ethanol and water, the signs and symptoms experienced by the patient, and the patch test conducted on the spray.
