- Abstract
In accordance with modern understanding of the role of micro- and nano-inhomogenuities in the processes of formation of surface micro relief the problems of the synthesis of materials with pre-defined properties are discussed. The formation of nanoscale structures in the photosensitive glass opens up new possibilities in the preparation of glasses for special purposes. Change in the conditions of synthesis of glasses, their composition, the introduction of activators demonstrates the ability to create modern optoelectronic systems. As model systems, well-known compositions of photosensitive silicate and germanate glasses are investigated. The silver ions are introduced into the test glass by ion exchange diffusion.
