The article discusses the conceptual imaginary of music teachers globally and presents various ways of perceiving and practicing education through music. It states that urban teachers and students can also be overwhelmed by disregard, isolation and the restricted realities set by low expectations. Moreover, it notes that music persists to be taken from urban centers and continue to benefit from the creative energy that comes from divergence and the community.
