- Abstract
In this article, the author focuses on oil pipeline spill by the oil firm Exxon Mobil Corp in the delta of the Nigeria River in Nigeria and discusses human rights laws related to the oil spill. She informs that the Special International Tribunal for Oil Spills can serve as a platform for the Nigerian government and oil firms to be become environmentally responsible and stop abusing the human rights of the region. She also mentions the BP Deepwater Horizon Explosion and Oil Spill in 2010.
