- Abstract
The article focuses on the Jewish communities and their activities the U.S. Southwest, based on historical accounts from various newspapers between 1864 and 1914. Information on the National Anniversary of Polish Patriotism in San Francisco, California in 1864, the Feast of the Tabernacles in Los Angeles in 1870 and the Passover lunch in San Francisco in 1872 is presented. Other Jewish holidays and celebrations activities are mentioned.
