- Abstract
The article discusses the revival of Judaism synagogue in Walla Walla, Washington. It notes that the arrival of Sharon Kaufman-Osborn in Whitman College in Walla Walla has reawakened the Congregation Beth Israel. It cites that Kaufman-Osborn had made several actions to reestablish the synagogue practices in the town which include inviting Bernie Busch, a lay leader in the Tri-cities, to Walla Walla, establishing a newsletter, and inaugurating family services. Moreover, it mentions the help shared by Shelley Rubin to the projects of Kaufman-Osborn in the town. Further developments in the Jewish practices in the town at this period of time are cited.
