- Abstract
The article presents an analysis on the commentary and translation made by Vladimir Nabokov, Russian-American novelist, to the poem "Eugene Onegin" by Aleksandr Sergeevich Puskin. Nabokov's commentary and translation has been viewed irrelevant and overdone based on the content. It provides an analysis on the language used in the commentary which has been percieved as mimicry to Pushkin's poem.
