- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 22-year-old female presenting with fever and pancytopenia, ultimately diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) with KMT2A rearrangement complicated by haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). It reports that the patient responded well to HLH-directed therapy with methylprednisolone and anakinra, and it highlights the successful management of both AML and HLH and the importance of prompt diagnosis and treatment in such cases.
