- Abstract
The article explores A lineage switch in leukemia is a very uncommon phenomenon and is defined as either relapse of the original subclone or the emergence of a new second leukemic clone during chemotherapy. Lineage switch from acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is frequently present, predominantly involving pediatric populations, and the reverse is much less common.
