The article discusses the emergence of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in universities and law schools in the U.S. Topics discussed include the Supreme Court's prohibition of race-conscious affirmative action in university admissions based on the case Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College, higher education's challenge with implementing lawful and constructive DEI efforts, and ways to continue the enrollment of diverse student bodies.
