- Abstract
The article addresses the different foreclosure procedures in Michigan and Michigan's reaction to the housing market crisis. Topics discussed include federal government's response to the housing market crisis through federal programs; Michigan's case "United States v. Bank of America Corp.;" and use of the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's federal regulations as statutory provisions that a mortgage loan holder cannot foreclose.
