- Abstract
The article discusses the use of Current Procedural Terminology codes 99211 and 99605-7 which represent medication therapy management services provided by a pharmacist in the U.S. The 99605-7 code is used to bill for services provided at the pharmacist-run anticoagulation clinic while 99211 code represent the evaluation and management of an established patient. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has finalized the revisions to the hospital outpatient prospective systems (OPPS). INSET: CMS answers questions.
