- Abstract
The article presents information on a study conducted to determine the differences in medical error risk among nurses who work in a two- andthree-shift systems. The cohort study was conducted using a log Poisson equation model and reports that the results show higher frequencies of adverse events in the three-shift system than the two-shift system over a duration of six months.
