- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which attempts to determine the factors that prevent students from completing high school, using 228 current and recent students from General Educational Development (GED) programs across Texas as respondents. Based on the findings in the study, pregnancy and parenting were the main reasons that prevent students from completing high school. Bad attitudes and poor choices are the second most listed responses which prevented students from graduation.
