Title
GAMING COMPACTS.
Abstract
The article reports that Wisconsin lost its action against the Ho-Chunk Nation and cannot require them to negotiate provisions in their Class III gaming compacts. The U.S. District Court remanded State of Wisconsin vs. Ho-Chunk Nation and referred to lack of jurisdiction. The Nation provided five challenges to the state's allegations that included breach of contract. The case of Panzer v. Doyle is mentioned.
