The article examines the manuscript (MS) 249 from University of Oxford's Merton College which informs about the fourth Lateran Council. It informs about the decryption of manuscript "Ars dilatandi sermones" by Richard of Thetford and sermons on Rogation Days and Pentecost. It mentions that implication of vernacular language in manuscripts cause to rethink about medieval English language relations.
