Bertalanffy, Helmut
- Abstract
The article presents the author's views on an article pineal tumor surgery of a 56-year-old female, who underwent removal of a WHO grade 3 pineal tumor. He opines that these tumors must be resected in the most efficient fashion without causing any harm to these important adjacent structures because of their deep location and close anatomical relationship to the midbrain tectum, cerebellum and bilateral pulvinar and Galenic venous draining group.
