- Abstract
The article highlights the results of a research conducted by BCC Research which predicts the growth of the market for advanced drinking water technologies in the United States by 2011. The drinking water technologies included membrane filtration, ozone disinfection, ultraviolet irradiation and novel oxidation processes. The United States Environmental Protection Agency claims that all 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico invested nearly $9.5 billion in drinking water improvements from 1996 to 2005 and is expected to grow annually.
