- Abstract
The article features the Fleming Hill Water Treatment Plant (Water Treatment Plant) and the Green Valley WTP, in Vallejo, California. The Fleming Hill WTP was one of the first in the state to use intermediate ozone, while the Green Valley WTP is the first plant in the state to install an on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system, which made the city as the first in California to use magnetic ion exchange treatment system in the completion of the requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Stage 1 Disinfectant/Disinfection Byproducts Rule.
