- Abstract
The article offers news briefs related to cancer research. A study conducted by the Hebrew University Medical School shows that mutation expression can be modified by genetic and familial factors in women with breast or ovarian cancer. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the drug cetuximab used in radiation therapy for squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. Several federal health services have collaborated to develop a plan to improve cancer therapy.
