- Abstract
The article focuses on comparing the efficacy and safety of two urate-lowering drugs, low-dose benzbromarone and low-dose febuxostat for the treatment of gout patients with renal uric acid underexcretion. It discusses the results of a randomized controlled study and highlights the importance of considering clinical hyperuricemia typing when selecting the medication for gout patients, as well as the need for research on ethnic and sex differences in the efficacy of urate-lowering therapy.
