- Title
Luke 16:19–31.
- Authors
McWhirter, Jocelyn
- Abstract
The article focuses on the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus as described in book Luke 16:19-31, and analyze it within the context of Luke's larger story of wealth and poverty, blessings and woes, and the prophet whom God raised from the dead. The author discusses how people can start locating themselves within the parable. It is argued that the parable challenges people to listen to God's prophets and adopt God's values.
