- Abstract
A double closed-loop control structure of a three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier is designed by using the control strategy of feed-forward decoupling. At the same time, the three-phase PWM rectifier for high power can lead to the bridge shoot-through because of external or other electromagnetic interference, which is possible to burn the IGBT. In order to solve the problem an improved scheme of three-phase PWM rectifier is proposed in this paper, in which a diode is added to the circuit and then a loop between the output capacitor and the IGBT of shoot-through arm can not be formed, when the bridge arm is straight through, to ensure the IGBT is not threatened. The simulation results of the three-phase PWM rectifier and the improved three-phase PWM rectifier are verified by Matlab simulation. The superiority of the improved three-phase PWM rectifier is verified. The experimental prototype shows that the designed system is feasible.
