- Abstract
The tourism sphere is taking significant steps towards the digital future. Many digital tools have been applied at the market of its services, which allow participants of the tourism sphere to perceive the experience more intensively, travel more comfortably, protect their health to a greater extent and many others. The paper deals with a specific new digital tool in the form of virtual reality. The goal was to find out the registration of the existence of virtual reality as an innovation at the tourism market by its participants and to specify the attitude of the domestic public towards this digital tool. Through the method of questionnaire research, primary data were accumulated and subsequently evaluated using several methods. The results showed that the respondents are familiar with virtual reality and that they generally perceive it as an interesting tool.
