The article discusses radicalism in prison education, specifically the prison university programs in the U.S. It notes the significance for the activities of these programs to be rationalized to prison administrators, prison administrators, and students. It points out that prison instills attitudes that are antithetical to transformative learning. It suggests that recognition of university learning in prison's quality should be determined.
