ABSTRACT Aging in the countryside is one of the major problems for cooperatives and is linked to the rural exodus of young people, together with the lack of interest in managing the father's property. With this, the objective of this research is to develop a shared family management program, using the Lean Six Sigma methodology, focused on design (DMADV - Define - Measure - Analyze - Draw - Verify), to assist in the transition of management. In this study, action research was used, applied to a context of difficulty and uncertainties regarding the future of the members in their succession, involving the maximum of tools that the DMADV itself has in its method. The project was accompanied from the beginning, when the definitions of the opportunities, the clients' requirements, the use of the best concept, the development of a design and its implementation were conceived. In this way, three main programs were created for the successor from childhood to adulthood, with proximity to the cooperative, personal development and training to administrate the property in the future.
