- Abstract
In this paper we propose to trace vectors for the movements that certain performative uses make through time in solo guitar performances. To do so, we make a comparative analysis of three recordings spread out through time - Segovia's (1936), John Wiliams's (1965) and Meng Su's (2016) - of the fourth movement of the "Omaggio a Boccherini" sonata op. 77 by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. We use some basic concepts of Claude Zilberberg's (2011) tensive proposal in order to operationalize the analytical developments of our analyzes. Finally, we will discuss the approximations and distances that the performative elements acquire in the historical course, as well as the effects of meaning that such uses assume both in the discursive strategies used, as well as in the dialogues established with the performative tradition of their contemporaries, with the praxis in which they are inserted.
