- Abstract
The article discusses the strategies and challenges in fair housing and environmental justice (EJ). Topics discussed include the environmental health responsibilities of the U.S. Housing of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), housing-related programs of the HUD, the challenges in the EJ coordination between HUD and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the HUD Site and Neighborhoods Standards which requires public housing sites to be free from adverse environmental conditions.
