- Abstract
The ligand N-(2-propionic acid)-salicyloylhydrazone(HL) and its new mixed ligand Zinc(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized by mass spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy and biological spectroscopy. The new mixed ligand Zinc complexes are Zn(C5H5N)(C10H9N2O4)C2H3O2, Zn(C10H8N2)(C10H9N2O4), Zn(C5H8N2)3 (C10H9N2O4), Zn(C10H9N2O4)(C9H6NO)(H4O2) and Zn(C10H9N2O4)(C14H11N2O2)(C2H3O2). These mixed complexes of zinc is prepared by reaction of HL (C10H9N2O4) and L1,L2,L3,L4,L5 in ethanol solution.
