- Abstract
The dispersion of carbon nanotubes with surfactants is the most typical starting step to fabricate their functional materials. In this sense, it is important to understand the effects of surfactant residues on the electrical and transport properties. This manuscript describes the effects of aqueous surfactants on the doping of carbon nanotubes. The use of ionic and nonionic surfactants results in the production of p‐type and n‐type composites, respectively. The control of carrier polarity and conductivity observed here is useful for designing functional composites for specific use including thermoelectrics.
