Title
Preventing Bone Loss in Men with Prostate Cancer.
Abstract
The article provides information about the prevention of bone loss in men with prostate cancer. This type of cancer is often treated with surgery or drugs to lower the levels of testosterone and androgen hormones. These hormones maintain the density and strength of men's bones, thus, reducing their levels leads to weaker bones. Those patients taking hormone-lowering treatments should have their bone density measured.
