- Abstract
The article reports on the clinical management of peste des petits ruminants (PPR) in goats and sheeps. PPR is stated to be an acute viral disease of goats and sheep characterized by fever, conjunctivitis, and pneumonia with symptoms like dullness, restlessness, and anorectic. It discusses the effective use of antibiotics like enrofloxcin, and administration of intestinal astringents, and intravenous fluids for the treatment of affected animals which prevent the onslaught of the infection.
