The article presents poems to represent Du Bellay's different themes and manners from complete unpublished translation of the 191 sonnets of "Regrets." It is noted that most famous of several collections of sonnets published by Bellay. It is noted that many of the poems are addressed to named individuals and even though the skilful composition and the many reminiscences of Latin and Italian verse show that these are highly literary productions.
