- Abstract
The article discusses research regarding the impacts of home visiting curricula on the weight status, physical activity, and other health behaviors of pregnant African-American women in the southern U.S. According to the article, pregnant women in gestational month eight participated in less moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) than pregnant women in gestational month four. The Delta Healthy Sprouts Project comparative impact trial in Mississippi is assessed.
