- Abstract
The article discusses appellate cases decided by the U.S Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, Utah Supreme Court and Utah Court of Appeals. Court cases discussed include United States v. Hoyle, in which the Tenth Circuit addressed the U.S sentencing guidelines and its imprisonment rules, the Tenth Circuit case United States v. Medina-Copete that involved an issue of first impression and Federal Rules of Evidence, and the Utah Supreme Court case State v. Lucero that involved child abuse evidence.
