- Abstract
Graph: Graphical Abstract The role of lymphangiogenesis in salt-sensitive hypertension. Thowsen I et al i . found no connection between skin lymphatic network modulation and blood pressure in three independent genetically engineered mouse models affecting lymphangiogenesis, namely the hypoplastic, atrophic, or hyperplastic dermal lymphatic network. Thus, when considering a clinical approach, it is crucial to gain a comprehensive understanding of the intricate connections between skin sodium, lymphatic vessels, and blood pressure before developing any large-scale clinical trials targeting lymphangiogenesis in humans.
