The article presents a summary of the 2011 British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) report on diving incidents in Great Britain. Results of the analysis of the facts revealed the number of cases of a medical event underwater, separation, diving in a group, deeper diving, running out of gas, rapid ascents, and cave diving. Several cases of fatal diving and decompression illness are described.
