- Abstract
The article discusses research on magmatic deposits of platinum-group elements (PGE) such as gold, selenium and tellurium by Sulfide Liquid Dissolution in Closed Systems as evidenced from the Skaergaard Intrusion in East Greenland. Topics discussed include characterisation of magmatic PGE deposits by visible Cu-Ni sulfide mineralisation, crystallisation of the cumulate rocks and Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) analysis of sulfide droplets.
