The article discusses measures taken by New Zealand to protect people from humanitarian disaster and to manage out-migration due to climatic change in Pacific Region. Topics discussed include policies made by New Zealand to train migrants such as voluntary migration schemes, recognized seasonal employer scheme and labor-training migration schemes, limitations of international laws to protect migrants, and provision made by the United Nations to protect migrants.
