- Abstract
High-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) was applied to isolate and purify bioactive compounds from Pteris mukifida Poir. Two flavonoids apigenin and luteolin were successfully isolated and purified by using two-phase solvent system, which was composed of chloroform-methanol-water(4: 3- 2, v/v/v) in head to tail elution mode. Consequently, 17.0 mg of apigenin and 22. 5 mg of luteolin were obtained from 100 mg crude sample with purities of 92% and 96% , respectively, as determined by HPLC. The chemical structures were identified by ¹H and 13C NMR
