- Abstract
The main cause of venous ulcers is venous hypertension and consequent capillary hypertension. The treatment is to reverse the venous hypertension to the level of the superficial veins of the lower limbs, this is why the compression therapy is indicated for these patients. Objectives: To describe the process of tissue repair in patients with venous ulcers in the use of inelastic compression therapy (Unna Boot) compared to the use of elastic bandage. Compare the clinical results and evolution of the tissue repair process of venous ulcers of patients undergoing therapy is inelastic and elastic. Method: This clinical study is a randomized controlled trial, open, prospective, quantitative study in a University Hospital. The sample will be 18 patients followed for 13 weeks. The data collection instrument will have socio-demographic, clinical and specific ulcer. Data analysis will be based on the SPSS software.
