Abstract
This article presents the results of a poll survey conducted by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) to the question of whether or not celebrities being educated on science can damage the public perception of science and engineering with unfounded claims and campaign. 69 percent of respondents said yes, while those who said no is 31 percent. For the next issue, the question is whether global warming is related to cyclical sunspot activity rather than manmade carbon dioxide emissions.
