- Abstract
The article discusses Canadian painter and muralist Alex Coleville and the evolution of his work. Particular attention is given to his murals "The History of Mount Allison" (1948) and "Athletes" (1960) on view at the campus of Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, and the preparatory drawing from his destroyed mural "Sackville Train Station" conserved at Owens Art Gallery at Mount Allison University.
