- Abstract
The article presents several studies related to obstetrics and gynaecology and sickle cell disease. These studies include on the trial regarding the use of rectal misoprostol plus perivascular vasopressin to lessen myometrial bleeding at the time of abdominal myomectomy. Also included is the study that determines the accuracy of the colposcopic impression that is made by gynaecology residents in training. In this study on colposcopic impression, data were collected for patients who undergo colposcopy and using observational study. It also mentions a study on the commonly used botanicals and vitamins on their impact on intra-operative blood pressure and blood loss in the surgical gynaecology patient.
