Abstract
The article reports on the Indian spacecraft, Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft, which have successfully reach the moon surface on November 14, 2008. It relates that the point of the Moon Impact Probe's (MIP), one of the 11 payloads of Chandrayaan-1, impact was near the Moon's south polar region. It was noted that the aircraft was launched on October 22, 2008 by PSLV-C11 from the country's spaceport Satish Dhawan Space Centre into its intended initial elliptical orbit around the earth.
