The article discusses the study conducted by D. Miers, D. Abbott and P. R. Springer which explores the needs of a family following the suicide of a teenager. The study involved six parents living in the midwestern U.S. A set of open-ended questions were used to facilitate these parents in describing their experiences after the suicide of their teenager. The six findings of the study is also given.
